Where do I find the VIN code?
1. The most common location is the top-right of the dash, visible through the windshield (this is the default location for most cars).
2. Inner door sections, on a plate or stamped into the body.
3. Side or top of the suspension strut seen from under the hood.
4. Vehicle ownership documentation (always available here)
Which countries are covered for VIN reports?
All vehicles of North America and European countries can receive full VIN code reports. Other countries can see summery information as derived from the VIN code as entered.
